WC Smith Properties Top List for Best Online Reputation in Washington, DC
WC Smith properties top the list of communities with the best online reputation in Washington, DC, according to J. Turner Research, which has released its 2018 Elite 1% Online Reputation Assessment (ORA) rankings.
Nationally, 7 WC Smith properties were among the more than 1,200 properties in the Elite 1%. In Washington, DC, 4 of the top 5 rated properties are owned by WC Smith, including numbers 1, 2 and 3; seven out of the 28 in the District on the list (25%) were WC Smith communities. Park Vista, a WC Smith development, was the only affordable DC property on this list.
J. Turner Research maintains a database on 101,000 properties nationally that it monitors for online reputation across 19+ review sites and Internet Listing Services (ILs). From that it compiles an Online Reputation Assessment score. To be eligible for the Elite 1% ranking, a property had to receive a minimum ORA score of 89 and have at least 12 online reviews across various review sites and ILSs. The national average ORA is 61.56.
When properties have the same IRA, the one with the greater number of reviews will rank higher. The ORA score is the multi-family industry’s standard to measure and benchmark a property’s online reputation.
